Now, this is the way my mommy sings it to me:
Pat-a-cake, Pat-a-cake, Baker's Man
Bake me a cake as fast as you can
Roll it, and pat it, and mark it with a B
Put in the oven for baby and me
But when she was looking it up tonight, she found this on Wiki, whatever that is:
- Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake, baker's man.
- Bake me a cake as fast as you can;
- Pat it and prick it and mark it with B,
- Put it in the oven for baby and me.[1]
- Patty cake, patty cake, baker's man.
- Bake me a cake as fast as you can;
- Roll it up, roll it up;
- And throw it in a pan!
- Patty cake, patty cake, baker's man.[2][3]
- In other news, one of Mommom's colleagues called her tonight and asked if she wanted a playset that they were getting rid of because their little boys have outgrown it. Well you know I wanted to say Yes! But I can't talk yet, other than to say ByeBye and Mommom. But she said she'd come and look at it this weekend and didn't think we had room in our small backyard. Then she remembered! Remember all that hard work clearing junk, weeds and mulching behind the garage? What a great place for a play set. It will be out of the way of the mower, and if I fall, the mulch is soft and will cushion it. So, I might get lucky this weekend! We are going to check it out Saturday.
- Oh, and my mommy told me to tell you this too, but I don't think it is a big deal. When our dog Rosie is outside barking, Mommom yells at her "Rosie Quiet!" Well, she keeps telling me that when I get older, that will be my job, to tell the dog to be quiet. So, I have been practicing! Every time Rosie barks, I go "Uh!" Real loud and look at my mommy. Then I look back towards the outside and go "uh uh" which is my way of telling Rosie to be quiet. I don't think she can hear me though because she just keeps on barking. I don't like when Mommom yells at her though because it hurts my little ears and sometimes I cry.
- Oh, I better get back to sleep now. Me very tired tonight. I was so tired that when I took my nap earlier, I fell instantly asleep face down by my mommy's feet.

I said it the way you said. They are so cute and happy when they clap, lol.
