Mommom and I got home Friday afternoon just in time for a huge storm. We lost our power, whatever that is, a few minutes later. I ended up falling asleep for a nap and slept through most of the bad part of the storm. Mommom thought that was pretty good. When I woke up, it was really dark in the house and I couldn't see my mommy. I got a little scared and started crying. Mommom swooped me up in her arms and everything got better.
Mommom kept going around the house using this funny light. I couldn't have my normal dinner because of the dark and I was not happy about it. I finally went to sleep and didn't sleep well. My mommy thinks I tossed and turned all night because I was really cranky on Saturday.
My cousin Kaleigh came over and we took her to lunch to celebrate her birthday. The waiter guy at the restaurant asked if I was a boy or a girl. My mommy was not happy. When she explained to the waiter that yes he was indeed the first person to enquire as to my gender, he was shocked. My mommy said I really look like a boy so she was a little upset.
Later, we went to dinner at a place with pizza. My mommy wouldn't let me eat any of it! I had to eat my boring ham and peas. I met a little girl named Amelia who had such pretty hair that I kept pulling it. I fell asleep on the way home. My mommy thinks I am going through a growth spurt because I have been taking more naps each day than normal. Me, I am just tired.
Sunday we just hung out at home. It is too hot here, mommy says, and then it stormed again. Mommy gave me some zucchini today and I ate it all gone. But my Mommom noticed a little bit of a rash on the belly when she changed me. She said she'll keep an eye on it in case it gets worse.
Well, I need to go to bed now. Sorry that I do not have a cute picture for you today. I hope you had a good weekend.
